Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and professional Stewards to join our Food and Beverage Service team. As a Steward, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests by delivering outstanding service and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service:
Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
Present menus, answer queries about the menu, and make recommendations when required.
Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
Table Management:
Set up tables with tableware, linen, and decorations as per standards.
Clear tables and reset them for the next guest promptly.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of service areas at all times.
Order Management:
Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
Ensure orders are served as per the guest’s preferences and requests.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Work closely with other team members to enhance the guest experience.
Compliance:
Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Maintain proper grooming, hygiene, and professional appearance.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Prior experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
Customer-centric approach and a positive attitude.
